Piazzale degli Uffizi 6. Plan 2.5 to 3 hours minimum - this museum does not rush. Botticelli's Birth of Venus and Primavera, Caravaggio, Leonardo, Raphael, Titian. The museum is large. Elevators between floors, benches throughout. Main galleries are long but flat.

Walk across Ponte Vecchio to the Oltrarno - 3 min from the Uffizi exit.

Via dei Vellutini 1, Piazza della Passera. Open daily noon-midnight. Contemporary-leaning Tuscan menu, outdoor terrace, relaxed pace. Good recovery lunch after a museum morning.

After lunch: Boboli Gardens (open today - no Monday closure). Opens 8:15 AM, closes 6:30 PM, last entry 5:30 PM. Large terraced garden behind Palazzo Pitti. Mobility note: significant elevation changes on gravel paths. Main amphitheater and Neptune fountain near lower entrance require least climbing. Upper terraces are steep. Alternatively, Piazza Santo Spirito for relaxed afternoon coffee.

The bistecca alla Fiorentina: Chianina beef, charcoal-grilled, served rare per tradition. Order for two. Add white beans (fagioli all'uccelletto) and a Chianti Classico. The steak is the entire point of the evening.
